GE IS200VCMIH2C Mark VI Bus Master Communication Board

IS200VCMIH2C is the VCMI bus master and communication interface between the Mark VI controller, VME I/O boards and IONet. It also manages the identification of rack boards and their associated terminal boards.

IS200VCMIH2C is the H2 configuration with three 10Base2 IONet Ethernet ports using BNC connectors at 10 Mbit/s. GE distinguishes this arrangement from the H1 version, which has one IONet port.

IS200VCMIH2C uses the VCMI TMS320C32 thirty-two-bit digital signal processor. GE specifies 4096K × 8 flash for the C generation, compared with 512K × 8 flash for the earlier B generation.

IS200VCMIH2C uses BNC-connected 10Base2 IONet ports. These are distinct from an RJ45 twisted-pair controller Ethernet port; the cabling and network arrangement must follow the Mark VI IONet installation design.

IS200VCMIH2C belongs to the VCMI architecture documented at 10 ms for simplex and 40 ms for TMR operation. GE also lists 20 ms and 80 ms as application-dependent rates, so the actual rack configuration determines timing.

IS200VCMIH2C is the H2 C-generation reference. GE documents a different flash capacity for the earlier B generation and only one IONet connection on H1; a replacement must match the installed network architecture and board configuration.
